Chanakya's Astha Siddhi, The Experience of Experimentation!
When Vaibhav announced that he is leaving his current organization, those who knew him (us) said "Oh..he is starting a new venture now!", we knew....!! We were just waiting for the name and the details....some of us wanted a mini version of his previous organization so that we can fit in. Lame isn't it :P
When he announced Sarvhitay, I was elated..what a beautiful name.
Fast forward to December,
I was at the last leg of my executive course, there were lot many assignments, quizzes, projects, exam stress and work was also going crazy! BAU, you can say... That's when I saw the initiative "Gratitude for Guru", the most memorable program, such a sweet reminiscence, had a precious feeling while writing the note, the note will always have a special place in my heart.
Later I then saw another post that said, mentorship session from Vaibhav, with yet another beautiful name Chanakya, nominations are open!
The funny thing is, when Vaibhav was at Tricentis in 2021 I wanted his mentorship but didn't dare to approach him, I did in 2022 we were in mid of the session and he left, I was so dejected thinking how unfortunate I was!!
So when I saw this, I saw the agenda, it had the topics I was struggling to put my head around, why wait, I requested him to consider my application. Didn't think for a second.
When he started the T minus series to note down the thoughts as part of this program, it resonated with me, every night I used to end my day by reading the blog, and how he used to explain each topic created high expectations(like it wasn't there in the first place!!)
I won't give in more details about sessions as each and every moment we interacted was high spirited, we were teachers and students at the same time.
The first session started on the 14th of Jan, I had a hectic week and had gotten 4 hours of sleep the whole week. I had my classes on the same evening so I had to prepare for that and hadn't slept a bit that Saturday, basically dead tired. I went in with a 30% charge and seeing others automatically my energy charged to 50%, he gave us a small activity, and later that I was 100%.
So that day, I had 4 hours of Chankaya and then 3 plus hours of my class... everyone I know, including my mum said "You are crazy, this is really too hectic to sit for this long, stop it".. But that night I watched 2 movies and then slept for 4 hours, cause I was so happy. Whenever I get to learn new things my mind is so happy and it just dances around.
The same way I completed the 3 important sessions.... There one was before my end terms too!!!
The key highlight for this mentorship is a mini project, which is a project ideated, designed, and executed by each participant. When he announced it, and then gave us the details, I was huffing for breath, and said to myself "Now, How do I bring an idea and execute it!!!. Should have listened to people!!! ", but my previous course has given me patience and courage to try anything and everything, Huge shout out to my mentor for that!! I was ready to explore...!!!
I had 3 days to plan and execute that, and I was on holiday, Vaibhav was so mindful he did not disturb my plan and was kind enough to adjust his timings to match mine.
During this project, we were scheduled to have quick 20mins calls, but every time we would extend it to an hour and still be left with excitement to know more.
He polished my messy idea and helped me to have a beautiful concept. A once-in-a-lifetime experience, words can't describe the takeaways from this mini-project.
Though completely sleep-deprived, travel wearied, The execution was fantastic I was elated, and did not get sleep the whole night.
We were really a bunch of curious folks, some were here to know it all, some to teach, some to question, and some to just take it all in, but all of us were here to experiment and experience.
Though we were all a part of the same program, our views and outcomes are different, that includes area of application.
All in all dots of a circle.
The impact that Vaibhav sweetly and proudly says everywhere is just a lovely precipitate of an experiment, wherein I think the actual results are that I got a library of ideas, methods, and experiences that I can implement. We all got the confidence that we too can tap into mines, extract ore and get gold for ourselves.
Lastly, Thank you, Vaibhav, for a wonderful journey, I'll always be thankful a million times for this. I'm grateful to my Gurus for leading me to the right path, will always look for that light, and to myself for developing Anvikshiki(go, go, go look it up!).
